Our tips for managing your money

  • Before you start budgeting, it's important to know how much you've got coming in each month to be able to plan effectively. A good habit is to put aside the amount needed for payments each month, so you know exactly how much you're dealing with.
  • Scroll through your regular payments, it’s possible you’ll discover at least one Direct Debit or standing order you no longer need. Usually, you can cancel these online or over the phone, but it’s worth reading over any contracts you may have to avoid a cancellation fee or penalty.
  • Make a list of short and longer term goals to focus on and watch your savings grow. On average, customers save twice as much when they save towards a specific goal.
