You can make deposits into your savings account in any of our Relationship Centres by cash or cheque, by post (cheques only), by electronic transfer from your nominated UK bank account . You can also pay money in using an eligible debit card. Please note debit card payments are capped at £1,000.

If you want to pay in by Bank Transfer
You can use the account details below to make a bank transfer or set up a standing order:

*It’s really important to use your Scottish Building Society account number so we can be sure your money is credited to your account.

Confirmation of Payee
Confirmation of Payee (CoP) is an account name checking service that can help avoid payments going to the wrong account.

When setting up or editing a payee, your bank or building society may use the CoP service to validate the information provided. This helps stop payments going to the wrong account by making sure the name on the account matches that provided.
