We've teamed up with Edinburgh Rugby to organise a festival for inclusive teams across Scotland to come along, play and make friends.

An inclusive rugby team is catered to suit people with a physical or learning disability. It creates a safe and positive environment for players to enjoy the sport.  

The festival will be played over two dates, the first was last Saturday 10 November and the second will be on 20 Aril 2024. Teams will have the chance to showcase their talents and compete over these two days.

Edinburgh Inclusive Rugby Team, Fife Clan, Borders Clan, Strathmore Clan and Ayrshire Clan all played in round one. All teams took part in a parade around Hive Stadium during half time of Edinburgh Rugby v Connacht. It was a fantastic way to highlight the importance of inclusivity in rugby.

“When we became the main partners with Edinburgh Rugby we wanted to use our platform to create more opportunities for people to get involved in rugby.

“The inclusive festival was born from this value, and it was incredibly encouraging to have over 100 players come down.

“Rugby is a sport for everyone and using our platform we want to create more opportunities and inspire more people to get involved."
